Go Behind The Scenes at Petco Park

Explore America's #1 Ballpark on one of our daily guided tours. Experience the ballpark as only players and staff do. Led by a tour guide, this historical, behind-the-scenes tour allows guests to experience the ballpark while learning about the history of Petco Park and the San Diego Padres. Stops include:

  • Field Warning Track

  • Cutwater Coronado Club

  • Padres Hall of Fame Presented by Motorola

  • Press Box

  • Private Luxury Suite

  • Breitbard Hall of Fame

All tour stops are subject to change depending upon Petco Park schedule and area availability.

Tour Details

Tour tickets are available for advance purchase online. Additionally, tour tickets can be purchased on site at the Western Metal Building Ticket Windows on 7th Ave./Tony Gwynn Drive at K Street starting 30 minutes prior to each tour. Tours are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. We highly recommend purchasing online in advance.

Tours are approximately 80 minutes long and include climbing stairs and walking ramps. All tours are wheelchair and stroller accessible, however wheelchairs are not provided. Tours take place rain or shine. All tours begin at the Western Metal Building Ticket Windows on 7th Ave./Tony Gwynn Blvd at K Street.

  • September 9-12 (P!nk Concert)

  • September 26-29 (Green Day Concert)

In-Season Tour Schedule

  • Non-Game Days (restricted dates apply)

    • Daily Tours (Mon - Fri) - 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm.

    • Daily Tours (Sat - Sun): Available Hourly from 10:00am - 2:00pm.

2024 Pre-Game Tours

Pre-game tour will end with an excusive opportunity to view Padres batting practice from the Templeton Rye Barrel Deck (batting practice not included in 1:10pm games)

Pre-game tours require a game ticket and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-game tours do NOT include game tickets, game tickets must be purchased separately. 

​

Pre-Game tours take place at the following times:

  • 7:10 PM Game Time:

    • Standard & VIP Pregame Tour: 3:30 PM (Check in at 3:00 PM), Down the Line Tour 4:00 PM (Check in at 3:30 PM)

  • 6:40 PM Game Time:

    • Standard & VIP Pregame Tour: 3:00 PM (Check in at 2:30 PM), Down the Line Tour 3:30 PM (Check in at 3:00 PM)

  • 5:40 PM Game Time:

    • Standard & VIP Pregame Tour: 2:00 PM (Check in at 1:30 PM), Down the Line Tour 2:30 PM (Check in at 2:00 PM)

  • 4:15 PM Game Time:

    • Standard & VIP Pregame Tour: 12:30 PM (Check in at 12:00 PM), Down the Line Tour 1:00 PM (Check in at 12:30 PM)

  • 3:40 PM Game Time:

    • Standard Tour: 12:00 PM (Check in at 11:30 AM), No VIP or Down the Line Tours​

  • 1:10 PM Game Time:

    • Standard Tour: 10:00 AM (Check in at 9:30 AM) 1 Hour tour only. No VIP or Down the Line Tours
